Amnesty International USA

I worked for Amnesty International USA as a Government Relations and Advocacy Intern from June - December 2024. I worked on the MENA region, researching humanitarian conflicts in the IOPT region (Israel and Occupied Palestinian Territory). I tracked weapons sales transfers from the U.S. government to the Israeli military and documented instances where U.S.-supplied weapons were used in direct violation of international law. My research was published in the Arms Sales Accountability Project here and here.

Since 2024, I’ve served as Co-President of the Harvard Undergraduate Chapter of Amnesty International. I have led several of Amnesty’s campaigns, including National Week of Student Action, Write For Rights, Banned Books Week and hosting a webinar with Mahmoud Khalil. I’ve also organized conferences, workshops, panels, rallies, and other actions mobilizing students at Harvard around pressing human rights issues.

I am currently a Youth Seat candidate for the 2026 Board of Directors for Amnesty International USA. See more of my campaign here!

Finish The 5 is led by a coalition of youth organizers, activists, advocates, formerly incarcerated individuals, and their allies who are collaboratively raising awareness about incarcerated kids’ living conditions in Texas youth prisons while advocating for a slate of legislation such as HB 4356 and SB 661 during the Texas legislative sessions. You can learn more about the campaign here

Austin Liberation Youth Movement

In 2020, I founded the Austin Liberation Youth Movement (ALYM), a grassroots, youth-led organization dedicated to the pursuit of social justice by fighting to build a more just and equitable social order. Since 2020, ALYM has mobilized, educated, and empowered young people in Austin to organize in their communities around social justice issues, such as racial justice, immigration, segregation, housing inequality, reproductive justice, and educational equity.

Finish The 5

ALYM engages young people through political education and community organizing. We have organized direct actions such as protests, rallies, teach-ins, webinars, workshops, mutual aid, and more to support low-income and marginalized communities in Austin, Texas. ALYM is also a founding partner in the Finish The 5 campaign. You can learn more about the organization here

In October of 2022, I co-founded the Finish The 5 campaign, which is a youth-led campaign fighting to close Texas’ remaining state-run juvenile detention facilities and invest in community-based alternatives to incarceration.
